AND THE WORST DRESS OF THE NIGHT….

We commend the acoustics of the place.
The venue can accommodate 16,000 people seating for concerts dahil may stage element, and 20,000 people seating kung sports events, kasi 360 degrees ang seating coverage.
Restrooms were spacious and clean and lifts and escalators were new and accessible. Seating was comfortable and snack bars are all over and budget friendly.
The video coverage with mapping provisions is also very commendable despite the time delay ng live performance sa video throw. Overall, the video and the lighting effects of the Videosonic Team complimented the live show.
It was the stage design that was a little off and disappointing since it was not visually inspiring and a little drab for our taste.
Overall, Icons at the Arena was a good show meeting the demands of the producers to sell the ‘Arena’ to future producers and event organizers. It is indeed a good concert venue.

THE colors of the wardrobe were dominantly red and gold. Nothing special with the gowns of all the performers. In fact, the simple yellow gown of Rachel Alejandro stole our attention because it was the simplest yet with the biggest impact!
Si Lea Salonga, parang Nazareno ang colors, it did not flatter her at all. Regine Velasquez on the other hand, though was wearing a not too beautiful gown but it was good for her figure, it made her look slimmer.
Piolo Pascual, of course, is clean and dapper. Richard Poon needs a change of stylist kung meron man, he looks out of place in his wardrobe. If he thinks he looked good in his outfit, he better get a second and third opinion.
Martin Nievera’s suit made him look so big on stage. Wally Bayola and Jose Manalo looked best in their ensemble, mukha silang mamahalin!
The ABS-CBN Philharmonic despite of being very good musicians seemed very casual for a formal show. Technicolor ang mga suot nila. But they are really good. I wonder if they will be exclusive to ABS-CBN shows?
